Trappist Achel "Extra" Bruin, Belgium (750ml Bottle)

A veritable classic! Achel, one of the handful of Trappist breweries in Belgium and one of only two where the monks still make the beer, is and hopefully always will be classic. To me their Bruin is the epitome of what a Belgian Bruin is: decadent, intense, full of power and complexity but also almost airy on the palate. With all its dark/sweet hued malt, freshly baked hunter's bread aromas and pure silky texture this is a beer, in the age of extreme beers, that still feels indulgent after all these years.
