94 Points from Wine Enthusiast Magazine: "A beautifully crisp wine, very mineral, with its citrus and green apple flavors given a fine texture of bright acidity. It is still so young, with just a hint of toast to show some maturity. The finish is shockingly fresh." (12/1/2011)

93 Points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 1999 Brut Blanc de Blancs is another deep, multi-dimensional wine from Billecart-Salmon. Here the fruit shows slightly more burnished tones, along with greater textural richness and weight, all while retaining surprising verve and cut. Roasted hazelnuts, smoke and pastry crust add complexity on the suave finish. The vintage Blanc de Blancs is made from parcels in Avize, Chouilly and Mesnil. This is Lot 265048 25010J. Disgorged May 14, 2010. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2024. This is a fine set of new releases from Billecart-Salmon. I admire these Champagnes for their trademark crystalline purity and exceptional sense of balance." (12/22/2010)

93 Points from Vinous: "Bright gold. Poached pear and gingerbread scents are complemented by notes of buttered toast, honey, jasmine and grain. Broad and fleshy on entry, then tighter in the mid-palate, offering sappy pear and spice flavors and sneaky licorice and mineral nuances. Clings impressively on the finish, with the floral and toast qualities repeating. This Champagne appear fully mature but its energy suggests that there's no rush to drink it." (12/2011)

91 Points from Wine Spectator: "Firm, with a light grain to the texture and a hint of brine accenting green pear, lemon curd, smoke and biscuit notes. Ends with a moderate, mineral-tinged finish." (12/31/2011)
