90 Points from Robert Parker: "A terrific sleeper from the firm of Dourthe that owns this property, the 2010 Le Boscq is composed of 51 % Merlot, 46 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Petit Verdot. Monsieur Olan is the consulting oenologist at this estate and seems to have hit pay dirt with the 2010, a major sleeper of the vintage. Opaque ruby/purple with oodles of creme de cassis, graphite and spring flowers, this wine also shows some intriguing foresty notes. Quite pure, rich, medium to full bodied with sweet tannin and adequate acidity, it will drink well for 10-15 years. A member of the Alliance des Crus Bourgeois." (2/27/13)

90 Points Vinous: "The 2010 Le Boscq is a delightful surprise. It is Merlot-driven on its precocious nose and is Pomerol-like with layers of raspberry confit, crushed strawberry and cedar, with light loamy scents appearing in the background. The palate is ample and rounded, again, almost Right Bank in style, smooth and more like a 2009 stylistically. No hard edges here, this Saint-Estèphe slips down the throat nicely. Enjoy this now and over the next decade." (02/2022)

(91-93) Points from Wine Enthusiast Magazine: "This is deceptively soft, with its tannins full of sweetness and acidity. Behind the opulent façade, the power and dry character are very evident." (6/1/2011)

From Wine Spectator: Dark cassis and black cherry fruit is wrapped with roasted apple wood, mineral and lilac notes. Offers a good, solid, tar-tinged finish. Best from 2014 through 2019. 4,200 cases made, 80 cases imported." (3/31/2013)
