2010 Les Angelots de Gracia Saint Emilion Grand Cru
93 Points from Robert Parker: "Michel Gracia’s other tiny estate in St.-Emilion has produced a wonderfully distinctive wine that exhibits plenty of floral notes intermixed with boysenberry, mulberry and blueberry fruit. There also is an underlying flowery character to this opaque ruby/purple, medium to full-bodied wine, which is impressively pure, textured and meant for drinking over the next 10-15 years." (2/27/13)
From Wine Spectator: "A dark, winey, modern style, showing slightly amped up blackberry and black currant fruit, with licorice snap and roasted vanilla bean notes. Still, this is polished and approachable now, despite the slightly overt style. Will certainly have some fans." (3/31/13)
From Vinous: "Good saturated ruby-red. Enticing aromas of black raspberry, roast coffee, toffee, tobacco and musky herbs. Lush, suave and intense, with harmonious acidity giving shape to the flavors of currant, tobacco, milk chocolate and licorice. A very good vintage for this second wine." (7/2013)
