90 Points from Vinous Magazine: "The 2015 Pier delle Vigne Murgia pulls you close to the glass with its bouquet of dusty dried roses, red currants, black cherries and incense. Its silky textures usher in tart woodland berries and savory spices, nicely lifted by brisk acids, as slow-mounting tannins collect toward the close. This finishes structured and long, yet with enough residual fruit to balance, as salty minerals, tobacco and licorice linger. The Pier delle Vigne, an interesting blend of 60% Aglianico and 40% Montepulciano, has medium-term cellar potential, but be careful not to strain yourself while handling the incredibly heavy bottle that Botromagno chose to place it in."
