94 Points from Jeb Dunnuck: "Moving to the 2018 Chianti Classico Riserva Novecento, this has more layered and integrated notes of raspberry leather, crushed flowers, and sweet herbs. It is medium to full-bodied, with a spine of mouthwatering acidity and ripe, angular tannins. It is packed with classic appeal, offering notes of dried cherry, salinity, and forested earth. For those who do not shy away from tannins, this is drinking well now, but it will continue to improve over the coming 15 years or so. (1/28/23)

93 Points from Wine Spectator: "Pure aromas and flavors of black cherry and black currant are displayed on a lush frame. There are ample tannins for support and accents of iron, tobacco and wild herbs for detail. Best from 2023 through 2035. 2,500 cases made, 1,000 cases imported." (10/31/21)

92 Points from Wine Enthusiast Magazine: "A blend of 95% Sangiovese, 3% Canaiolo and 2% Colorino, this opens with aromas of black-skinned berry, leather and tobacco. Made with organically farmed grapes, the wine features a savory, polished palate offering dried black cherry, star anise and white pepper alongside fine-grained tannins. Drink through 2028." (5/1/22)

92 Points from Decanter Magazine: "A slight cardboardy note among very classic cherry kernel, black cherry and violet aromas. There's a cinnamon flavour, with cherry and almost blood orange ensuring complexity, while firm and crunchy tannins and crisp acidity bring the wine to a more bony style. It lacks a bit of suppleness however it will improve with bottle ageing." (10/25/22)
