94 Points Vinous: "The 2020 Corimbo is made from Tinta del País grown in La Horra in a vintage marked by some rainfall. Garnet in color, it offers aromas of herbs, black fruit and a core of fresh fruit—black cherry and soft spice—with a touch of toffee from the oak. The palate is slender and chalky, with fine tannins and a fruit-driven finish. It grows more welcoming with air yet remains compact. A sophisticated, modern red." (6/25)

92+ Points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The first wine to be certified organic is the 2020 Corimbo, from a vintage that is riper and has more alcohol, and it shows more rusticity than the 2019 I tasted next to it. It has 14.5% alcohol with a pH of 3.7. It has some spiciness from the barrels, which should integrate with some more time in bottle. 76,920 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2022.

Bodegas La Horra is the winery in Ribera del Duero from Roda in Rioja, and they produce 150,000 bottles. I tasted two vintages of their wines, which is always great for the comparison. They are releasing their first certified-organic vintage in 2020." (6/13/24)
