2021 Moillard "Coquillage" Chablis
12.0
90 Points Vinous: "The 2021 Chablis Village has a taut and linear bouquet, less reduced than the 2021 Chablis Village from Domaine Michaut, more terroir coming through with hints of petrichor and apple blossom. The palate is well-defined with more energy and tension than 117, fresh and crisp with a pleasant "bite" on its energetic finish. I can see this giving several years' drinking pleasure. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis." (06/22)
90 Points Decanter: "8-10 months of lees ageing give this Chablis a creamy hint to a nose of citrus and yellow apple. Mineral acidity (7.2g/l) provides drive and lift to the palate, unravelling buttered citrus, pineapple and dried apricot notes. Textured and long, a well-made beauty that's enjoyable with food and on its own." (10/10/22)
