2018 Nicosia "Lenza di Munti" Etna Rosso

90 Points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Here's a new discovery from Tenute Nicosia. The 2018 Etna Rosso Lenza di Munti sees its fruit sourced from a vineyard site at 720 meters above sea level on the lava-rich slopes of Etna. Nerello Mascalese (85%) and Nerello Cappuccio (15%) are used in the blend. You get a lot of elegance here, but the wine also offers a lot of typicity with aromas that you can only get with these grapes. Wild cherry and cassis cede to ashy soil and a spicy pinch of crushed white peppercorn. This is a solid new addition to the Tenute Nicosia portfolio of Etna reds.
