2022 Henri Bourgeois "En Travertin" Pouilly-Fume

$29.99
$29.99

91 points from Decanter: "Strong gooseberry, slightly catty, grassy aromas – the character that people often associate with Sauvignon Blanc, which seems quite unusual for a 2022. This good racy wine has vibrancy and really distinct grapefruit notes. En Travertin comes from vines planted on clay-limestone in the commune of Saint-Andelain, which rises to the highest point of the appellation. Fermentation is in stainless steel at the Bourgeois winery in Chavignol. It spends five months on the fine lees before bottling." (3/19/23)

From Wine Spectator: "A refreshing, high-pitched style, with fresh meadow blossoms and jasmine coursing alongside nectarine and apple. Lean and lithe, this white is fueled by mineral-rich acidity, with smoke wafting through. Drink now. 8,000 cases made." (11/30/23)
